"As a CNM my goal is to create an environment that is empowering, supportive and safe for families as they encounter life’s stages."
Sarah began her nursing career in 2004 at Baldwin Area Medical Center. In 2021, she earned her Master’s of Nursing degree in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Utilizing the traditional midwifery model of care is important to Sarah. This model focuses on building trusting relationships, using a holistic approach to health promotion, and engaging in person-centered care that is empowering and individualized. She is excited to continue her career at Western Wisconsin Health as a CNM, while providing care to her community. Sarah takes professional interests in comprehensive women’s health care including primary care, trauma informed care, mental health in women, individualized prenatal and birth care, and water births.
Sarah has been a lifelong resident of the Baldwin-Woodville area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, tending to her chickens, and volunteering as a 4H leader.
