Western Wisconsin Health (WW Health) hosted their Annual Community Open House Celebration on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
The Eatery served a healthy meal that consisted of tacos with all the fixings and fresh fruit at the event. There was live music provided by Boondoggle. Life Link, the Baldwin Ambulance, and local police were on-site giving tours of the Helicopter and emergency vehicles. The K-9 Unit also performed demonstrations for guests. Children enjoyed dancing with Healthy Hank and bike helmet fittings from the Baldwin Ambulance.
Guests also had a chance to meet with new providers that have joined our team including: Dr. Matthew Beeson, Family Practice Physician, Laura Beeson, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Clemma Nash, Functional Medicine Physician, Stephanie Waterman, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, Kerry Dixon, Certified Nurse Midwife, Dr. Steven Verbeek, OB-GYN, and Emily Jacobson, Acupuncturist.
Inside the Atrium, there were displays about our services and our health care partners. Free chair massages and Acupuncture were offered by the integrative health team. ADRC also performed free memory screenings for guests. WW Health’s partners such as the ADRC, ADORAY Home Health and Hospice, Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin, Life Source, CMK Energy, WW Health Auxiliary, Family Resource Center, Baldwin Ambulance, Children’s Hospital, Region’s Hospital and Turningpoint had displays at the medical center.
WW Health also gave away an Amazon Echo, Fitbit, 1-Year Fitness Center Membership, 3-Month Fitness Center Membership, plant, and an Integrative Health Gift Certificate as raffle prizes.
