On-Site Optometry Services at WW Health

Western Wisconsin Health (WW Health) is pleased to announce we will soon be offering on-site Optometry services. Dr. Timothy Bevers joined our provider team as an Optometrist on October 23, 2017. He will begin seeing patients as soon as his accommodations and support staff are finalized. WW Health is excited to offer this vital service to the community.

Dr. Timothy Bevers received his Doctorate of Optometry from Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, Michigan. He went on to serve as a primary care Optometrist for the US Navy in Groton, Connecticut prior to relocating to central Wisconsin. Dr. Bevers practices primary care optometry for all ages. He has a special interest in diagnosing and treating diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration. He also has experience in pre and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients.

“Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of evaluating our overall health, said Dr. Bevers. “Early detection is key to successful treatments and preserving our vision.”

At Western Wisconsin Health, we understand that sight is an extremely important aspect in your health and happiness. We will offer Optometry services for all ages and eye care needs. We will provide primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations to detect and treat various visual abnormalities, eye injuries, disorders and diseases. Our Optometry team will include an Optometrist, Ophthalmic Assistant, and Optician that will discuss all treatment options with you. This may include glasses, contact lenses, surgery or medication and they will be able to provide complete eyewear for you after your exam. Our Optometrist has the ability to diagnose, treat or manage cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eyes and conjunctivitis. We also currently partner with Dr. Anthony Novak, an Ophthalmologist, to provide surgical services.
