Western Wisconsin Health is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Dr. Trevor Wahlquist, Spine Surgeon, and Dr. Pooja Mundrati, Interventional Spine Physician, from Summit Orthopedics to offer spine care services. They are now accepting appointments and will begin seeing patients on January 17, 2018.
Dr. Trevor Wahlquist received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. He went on to obtain his Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. Wahlquist graduated from Medical School at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, MN. He completed his residency in Orthopedics Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and his fellowship in Spine Surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Wahlquist’s patients benefit from his focused surgical techniques and comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. He takes a special interest in back, neck and spine care.
“Ensuring people are living healthy and active lifestyles is important to me,” said Dr. Wahlquist. “I strive to work together with patients to find non-operative and operative solutions for their pain, getting them back to the activities and the people that matter most to them.”
Dr. Pooja Mundrati received her Bachelor of Arts and Biology degree from the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. She completed Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Mundrati then completed an internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL and her residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in West Orange, NJ. This was followed by an Interventional Spine and Sports Fellowship with Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Mundrati takes a special interest in back, neck and spine care and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
“Initially, I hope to help my patients understand what’s going on so that together we can choose the best treatment plan,” said Dr. Mundrati about her approach to spine treatment. “Ultimately, my goal is to help my patients get better and get them back to what they enjoy.”
