New Providers at Western Wisconsin Health

Western Wisconsin Health is pleased to announce that we have several new providers that have joined our healthcare team.  

Dr. Mikhail Regelman joined the specialty care team as a Urologist from Minnesota Urology in September. Dr. Regelman joined Minnesota Urology in 2016. His professional goals are to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting edge care to his patients. As a former educator, he strives to make sure that patients understand their urologic conditions and the treatment options available to them. “It is my goal to make sure that every patient is well informed about their medical problems and their operative and medical treatment options,” said Dr. Regelman. “A well informed patient can take charge of their care and that level of empowerment leads to better outcomes and patient satisfaction.”

His main clinical interests are medical and surgical treatments of benign and malignant diseases affecting the kidneys, bladder, prostate, penis and testicles. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic procedures. Dr. Regelman has also taken an interest in the treatment of Men’s health issues. He now offers patients multiple surgical and medical modalities in the treatment of hypogonadism (low testosterone), erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory disorders and Peyronies disease.

On October 1, 2018, Andrea Blegen joined the team as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Andrea earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from CVTC in Eau Claire, WI and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Adult-Geriatric Primary Care at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Andrea has had a variety of experiences in many areas of geriatric care including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and memory care in both management roles and with direct patient care. Her practice provides comprehensive preventative care as well as acute and chronic disease management for the elderly with a holistic and palliative approach. Andrea takes a special interest in elderly and dementia care, improving care transitions, palliative care, and chronic disease management. “I am passionate about providing individualized and compassionate care to the elderly population in our community. It is rewarding to be able to assist them manage their chronic medical conditions while maximizing their quality of life,” said Andrea.

On October 11, 2018, Dr. Eric Becken joined the specialty care team as a board-certified ENT Specialist from Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat Specialties. Dr. Becken graduated from Saint Olaf College and the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Becken’s practice includes all facets of the medical and surgical management of pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat disorders.
