WW Health Hosts Community Open House Celebration

Western Wisconsin Health (WW Health) hosted their Annual Community Open House Celebration on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

The Eatery served a delicious meal that consisted of sandwiches and healthy sides at the event. There was live music provided by local musician Joel Kachel. Police and Baldwin Area EMS vehicles were onsite for tours and the Baldwin Ambulance crew had bike helmets available. The K-9 Unit performed demonstrations for guests with their new canine recruit. The Sheriff’s Posse also brought two lovely horses for guests to meet. Families enjoyed dancing with Healthy Hank, jumping and sliding in the bounce house, face-painting, caricatures, and meeting the Tower Princess and her Prince. Suzanne Wynveen Photography was there to capture all the magical moments!

Inside the Atrium, there were displays about services and health care partners. Guests had a chance to meet with providers and the integrative health team. The ADRC also performed free memory screenings for visitors. WW Health’s partners including ADORAY Home Health and Hospice, ADRC, American Tissue Services Foundation (ATSF), Baldwin Care Center, Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin, Family Resource Center, Life Link, Region’s Hospital, and WW Health Auxiliary had displays at the medical center. Community members were also able to see the new Telemedicine machine and learn more about this exciting new service.

WW Health held a drawing for prizes including a $50 Amazon gift card, wireless earbuds, camping cookware set, four 3-month Fitness Center Memberships, and an Integrative Health Gift Certificate. The WW Health Auxiliary also gave away a beautiful plant. Participants that signed up for MyChart at the event were also entered into a drawing to win an Amazon Fire Tablet.
