We are pleased to announce that Ageless Grace® is coming to Western Wisconsin Health this September.
Ageless Grace® is being taught by Kate Jones, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Ageless Grace® Educator from our Behavioral Health team. Ageless Grace® is practiced in all 50 states and at least 23 other countries, but this is the first time it is being offered in western Wisconsin! The class will include 5 sessions at a cost of $25 and will be held in the Fitness Center Studio Room. You do not need to be a fitness center member to participate. The first session begins Thursdays, September 6, 2018 from 10:00 – 10:45 am
People of all ages and abilities can perform the movements, including those with weight and joint issues, diabetes, use wheelchairs, or have other physical limitations. We invite anyone to come and move their body, even if you are a bit shaky on your legs – we do what we can!
- Movements are performed while seated in a chair, to music you will remember.
- Learn from 21 simple tools for lifelong comfort & ease!
- Focus on healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
- Benefits joint mobility, spinal flexibility, right-left brain coordination, cognitive function, systemic stimulation, balance, and confidence.
- Playfulness and creativity encouraged. FUN! FUN! FUN!
“Even if it has been quite a while since you have done exercises, you will be able to experience success,” explained Kate Jones. “Ageless Grace® is a great class for people who may think ‘I know I should get more exercise, but…’. Each of the classes will practice a variety of movements using “tools” that are doable for everyone, and each class will be different from the others. Changing things up is part of what is very beneficial.”
Kate Jones joined the WW Health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in April 2018. Kate Jones was awarded a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska.
